Statement
"I examine information in my works. Information is not necessarily knowledge, nor does it automatically equate with data. Information is a messenger - like the Greek Hermes. In the modern world, we use combinations of all kinds of information and communication systems with no effort at all. We can make computer models of our genetic code and study different data-based scenarios of climate change.
In my recent works, I have examined the poetic nature of the overlap between two different types of information. The overlapping information types are distinct, without a sense or awareness, but because of an external force, they begin to overlap and become intertwined, and start to make meanings visible. The interaction between machine-drawn vectors and flow patterns, which are created in a liquid, makes me think about our present age and our current life form. At the same time, I wish to speculate on ideas about other kinds of information which may be seen on the unfolding horizon."
